Extended reading services are offered at the Main Library and the School of Library and Information Studies Library only. 

Request for extended checkout applies only to books from the Filipiniana Books and Social Sciences Sections.

Please place your request from 8:00am to 4:45pm to give the staff enough time to locate the requested items and bring them to the General Reference Section.

Provide the complete bibliographic information of the books you wish to borrow for home-use. Please check the WebOPAC at ilib.upd.edu.ph to get the bibliographic information of the library materials you wish to borrow.

Approach the Librarian at the General Reference and Electronic Resources Section to read or check-out your requested items.
