The Index to Philippines Periodicals is a name-subject index to periodicals published in the Philippines. It is compiled and edited by the Bibliography and Indexing Section, and issued on a quarterly basis every year. The IPP is available in both print and online. NDEX is the computerized version of the IPP in print  using CDS/ISIS. 

1. Visit the Filipiniana Serials Section and search the IPP terminals
2. Type S for information retrieval system
3. Type S for search formulation
4. Type the keywords, subjects, titles or author you want to search
5. Use asterisk (*) between keywords to combine search terms
6. Press the enter key to start retrieving records
7. Type D to display the search results
8. To view more results, press the enter or spacebar keys
9. Do not press any key aside from the said keys or else the computer will go to the previous menu
